April 10, New Delhi — External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar participated in the 9th Indian Ocean Conference alongside the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navin Ramgoolam, highlighting efforts to further strengthen the deep-rooted ties between India and Mauritius.

At the conference, Prime Minister Ramgoolam described Minister Jaishankar's presence as a reflection of the strong trust between the two nations and thanked India for its continued support to Mauritius.

Minister Jaishankar, in turn, congratulated Mauritius on hosting the conference and noted that the bilateral partnership has seen significant and substantive progress in recent years.
