External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a telephone conversation with his Japanese counterpart, Toshimitsu Motegi, today. In a social media post, Dr. Jaishankar stated that both sides discussed developments in West Asia, including international shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The Minister also acknowledged Toshimitsu Motegi's condolences for the lives of Indian citizens lost in the conflict.
