Mumbai, March 30 Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLC Eknath Khadse and his daughter were booked for allegedly cheating an elderly woman by promising a sugar factory ownership on her land and taking possession of it with the help of forged documents in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district, police said on Monday.
The land in question was classified as 'Mahar Watan' and its illegal possession was taken in the name of the former state minister Khadse's daughter, Sharda, from the 82-year-old woman, they said.
