Jammu-Chhapra: New Railway Train Service Launches.webp

In an effort to improve passenger convenience, the Railways will operate a special reserved train between Jammu Tawi and Chhapra, starting April 6. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that this service, designated as Train No. 05193/05194, will make 15 trips in each direction, providing direct connections for passengers traveling to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab. Train No. 05194 will depart from Jammu Tawi every Wednesday at 1:20 am, commencing on April 8 and continuing until July 15. It will arrive in Chhapra at 9:15 am the following day. Similarly, Train No. 05193 will operate from Chhapra every Monday at 2:12 pm, starting on April 6 and continuing until July 13, arriving at Jammu Tawi at 11:00 pm on Tuesdays. The train will stop at key stations, including Kathua, Pathankot Cantonment, Jalandhar Cantonment, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantonment, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, and Chhapra Kacheri, among others, on both routes. The train consists of Air-Conditioned (AC), Sleeper, and General Class coaches to accommodate passengers of different classes. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal stated that this special service has been introduced to address the high volume of passenger traffic and will provide direct and comfortable connections between the two regions. Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance through IRCTC or at railway reservation counters.
