Two Pakistani nationals, along with a local gangster, escaped from a juvenile home in a border village of Jammu. They were arrested within 20 hours of the incident near the Ambala railway station in Haryana on Tuesday, while they were en route to Nepal. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that however, the local gangster, Karajeet Singh alias Gugga, who is alleged to have masterminded the escape, remains at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. Karajeet Singh, a resident of Dablehar in R S Pura, along with Pakistani citizens Mohammad Suna-ullah (20) and Ahsan Anwar (21), allegedly attacked police personnel and fled from the juvenile home around 5 PM on Monday. Two police officers were injured in the incident. Earlier, six police personnel were suspended after the three inmates escaped from the juvenile facility in the R S Pura sector of Jammu. The Pakistani nationals were tracked near the Ambala railway station by a police party, and subsequently handed over to the J&K Police. The two individuals were apprehended in 2019 and 2021 after crossing into the Indian side, despite being turned adults. After their escape, they boarded a sleeper coach in Jammu and were heading to Uttar Pradesh to cross over to Nepal. Further details are awaited. However, the gangster's mother is also missing from her residence in Jammu and is believed to be accompanying her son.
