In Jammu and Kashmir, the first part of the budget session of the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly concluded on Friday. The House is scheduled to reconvene on March 27 to pass the Appropriation Bill for the 2026-27 budget. An Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, announced that the House will reconvene on March 27, when it will formally approve the budget by passing the Appropriation Bill. During the second part of the budget session, the House will also consider the Appropriation Bill, Private Members' Bills, and Resolutions, along with other government business.
