
The IndiaSkills Competition, organized by the National Skill Development Corporation under the auspices of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, continues to serve as the country's premier platform for promoting skill excellence among youth.
At the IndiaSkills 2025–26 Regional Competition (North), participants from Jammu and Kashmir delivered an impressive performance in the Fashion Technology trade. Diksha Rani secured the gold medal, while Rushda Khan won the silver medal. Ramneek Sran from Punjab claimed the bronze medal.
The regional competition saw participation from approximately 330 contestants representing nine States and Union Territories across 63 skill trades. The event highlighted high levels of talent and competitive spirit, with notable participation and strong performances from female competitors.
Winners from the regional round will now advance to the national-level competition, where they will compete for top honors and the opportunity to represent India at international skill platforms.
