A meeting was held today at the Jammu Rail Head Complex Waqf Office to review the arrangements for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, and was attended by officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Jammu Municipal Corporation, and the Jal Shakti Department.
During the meeting, discussions were held to ensure proper arrangements at Eidgahs, mosques, and shrines, including cleanliness, water supply, electricity, traffic management, and security, so that people do not face any inconvenience during Eid prayers.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Andrabi said that the Waqf Board, in coordination with the administration, is making all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth and peaceful celebrations of Eid in the Jammu division.
