
Jammu, March 29 Three boys were reportedly drowned in the Tawi River here on Sunday, prompting authorities to launch a large-scale rescue operation, officials said.
The three boys – Bavish Koul, Sonam Dutt, and Aditya Pandit, all belonging to the Kashmiri Pandit community – were swept away by a strong current near the Nagrota Sainik School on the outskirts of Jammu on Sunday evening, officials said.
Upon being informed, teams from the police, NDRF, SDRF, and local volunteers rushed to the scene and launched an operation to locate the missing boys, officials said.
The operation was ongoing at the time of filing this report, with divers and rescue teams combing the area.
