Jammu, March 2 Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited the family of a Special Security Force (SSF) personnel who died in a road accident in January, according to a Lok Bhavan spokesman.
Sunny Salgotra, a constable from the Arnia area of Jammu, was part of the security detail protecting the lieutenant governor and died when his motorcycle was hit by a car near Rotary Chowk in the city on January 28.
During his visit to the SSF soldier's home, LG Sinha paid his respects to the deceased, the spokesman said.
He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of all assistance and support from the government.
