Jammu’s ‘Smriddhi’ Program Drives Women’s Financial Independence.webp

A program on women empowerment, titled "Smriddhi," was organized by the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FICCI FLO) at the Jammu Convention Centre, with the aim of promoting financial independence and entrepreneurship among women.

Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, attended the event as the chief guest, while the National President of FICCI FLO was also present.

The program aimed to connect women with the Government of India's vision of "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" (Self-Reliant India), encouraging them to become financially independent and build sustainable livelihoods.

Women from various areas participated in the event and shared their experiences of becoming self-reliant by starting their own small businesses and livelihood initiatives.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the program, Nasir Aslam Wani said that significant efforts are being made to empower women, and the government is taking several initiatives in this direction.

He said that the government wants women to move forward, become self-reliant, and create their own sources of livelihood.

The program also highlighted various initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among women and motivating them to stand on their own feet.
