Chennai, April 10 Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s highly anticipated film 'Jana Nayagan' has been leaked online in HD ahead of its theatrical release, prompting the makers to initiate swift legal action.
KVN Productions, the banner bankrolling the film, in an official communication posted on X, said, “It has come to our notice that certain scenes and clips from 'Jana Nayagan,' and, in some cases, most of the movie, have been illegally accessed, copied, and circulated by unidentified persons, posing a serious threat of digital piracy.”
The leak surfaced early Friday morning, with several clips—including the actor’s five-minute introduction scene and the title card—circulating widely on social media platforms such as X, WhatsApp, and Telegram.
