SRINAGAR, MARCH 18: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, extended warm and heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri 2026.
In his message, the Minister conveyed his best wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, praying for joy, peace, and prosperity for all. He described the festival as a vibrant celebration of Nari Shakti (women's power), symbolizing strength, resilience, and the divine feminine energy embodied in Maa Durga.
Highlighting the spiritual significance of the nine-day festival, Javid Ahmad Dar said that Navratri is a period of devotion, reflection, and renewal of faith. He noted that the occasion encourages individuals to seek blessings for courage, harmony, and a peaceful, prosperous life.
He further expressed hope that the festival would strengthen the spirit of unity, brotherhood, and communal harmony, while reinforcing the enduring values of compassion and righteousness among the people.
