Ranchi, March 13 Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said he had a discussion with Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi on the election strategy for the upcoming assembly elections in the northeastern state.
Earlier, Gogoi called on Soren at his official residence here.
"Our discussions focused on formulating strategies for the elections in Assam," Soren told reporters on Thursday.
He said leaders of his party, the JMM, and the Congress, continue to engage with each other, as part of organizational and electoral preparations.
Assembly elections in Assam are expected to be held in April.
