Dumka, March 16 Two people were killed after their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding truck in the Dumka district of Jharkhand, police said on Monday.
The accident occurred in the main market area within the Shikaripada police station limits, they said.
"The deceased have been identified as Haroon Sheikh (30) and Babur Ali Sheikh (45), both from Birbhum district in West Bengal," said Amit Lakra, in-charge of the Shikaripada police station.
Police have sent both bodies for post-mortem examination and have informed the families, Lakra said.
