Medininagar, April 3 Police arrested two individuals following a brief encounter in connection with the murder of a businessman in Jharkhand’s Palamu district on Friday, an official said.
One of the accused, identified as Faiz Khan, sustained two bullet injuries to his legs, he said.
The encounter took place in the Panki-Terhasi police station area.
"Following a tip-off, police reached the area to arrest them. As they came face to face with police, Khan fired at the security personnel, leading to an exchange of fire in which he suffered two gunshot wounds in his legs," Palamu SDPO Rajeev Ranjan told
