
Ranchi, March 15 RJD national working president Tejashwi Yadav will visit Jharkhand on April 5 to discuss strategies to strengthen the organization in the state, a party official said on Sunday.
Preparations for his scheduled visit, among other issues, were discussed during the party's state executive committee meeting held here on Sunday.
"Tejashwi Yadav is scheduled to arrive in Ranchi on April 5. During his visit, he will interact with office-bearers and workers to strengthen the party and its organizational structure at the grassroots level in Jharkhand," RJD state president Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav said.
Jharkhand Labour Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav, RJD legislature party leader Suresh Paswan, and former minister Satyanand Bhokta were among other senior party leaders who attended the meeting.
The RJD state president also said that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is set to begin in Jharkhand in April.
"For the SIR initiative, district presidents along with block and panchayat presidents will be sensitized," he said.
