Latehar, March 19 A truck carrying cannabis worth approximately Rs 1 crore was seized in Latehar district, Jharkhand, on Thursday, police said.
The seizure was made near a restaurant in Kinamore, based on a tip-off, they added.
"A total of 1,000 kg of cannabis was packed into 200 packets, with each packet containing around 5 kg," said SP Kumar Gaurav.
The truck was traveling from Ranchi to Palamu, he said.
"No arrests could be made as the smugglers managed to escape," another police officer said.
