Ranchi, February 24 The Jharkhand government on Tuesday presented a ₹1.58 lakh crore budget for the 2026-27 fiscal in the assembly.
The JMM-led government had presented a ₹1.45 lakh crore budget in 2025-26.
"I have presented a budget of ₹1.58 lakh crore for the 2026-27 financial year before the House," Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore said in the assembly.
The budget will meet the aspirations of all sections of society, including the poor, farmers, tribal communities, and women, Kishore asserted.
