Srinagar, March 30 The Jammu and Kashmir administration placed the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Anantnag, Sundeep Singh Bali, on suspension pending an inquiry.
"Pending investigation into his conduct, Sundeep Singh Bali, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, is hereby placed under suspension, effective immediately, in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956," stated an order issued by the General Administration Department.
According to the order, during his suspension, Bali shall remain attached to the office of the Kashmir Divisional Commissioner.
