JKBOSE Launches Workshop on Holistic Progress Card.webp

JAMMU, February 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), in collaboration with PARAKH and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), has begun a five-day workshop at its Conference Hall to introduce the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) at the secondary level and standardize question paper templates.

Chairman Gh Hassan Sheikh stated that the initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and aims to promote student-centric, competency-based assessment. Director of Academics, Dr Parveen Singh, emphasized the importance of integrating creativity and problem-solving into evaluation methods.

In a message, PARAKH Head Dr Indrani Mukherjee highlighted the body's role in standardizing assessment practices nationwide.

Approximately 100 educators from government and private institutions, DIETs, and SCERT are participating in the workshop.
