JAMMU, FEBRUARY 18: Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation, Devansh Yadav, conducted an inspection of Wards 49 and 74, covering Narwal, Bathindi, Sunjwan, and Chowadi, to review sanitation and remove encroachments.
He directed officials to ensure regular garbage collection, waste segregation at the source, and timely clearing of drains, with a particular focus on cleaning deep drains and canals before the monsoon season.
During the drive, illegal encroachments on roads, sidewalks, and government land in Sunjwan were removed. The Commissioner called for strict vigilance against repeat violations and emphasized sustained cleanliness efforts with public cooperation.
