New Delhi, April 7 Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) released a notification on Tuesday, stating that postgraduate (PG) admissions for the academic year 2026-27 will begin shortly after the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) 2026 are announced.
The university has advised candidates who wish to apply to the university to carefully review the JNU PG prospectus 2026-27 to ensure they meet the prescribed criteria.
According to the prospectus, which was released last week, candidates seeking admission to MA, MSc, MPH, M Tech, PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma programmes are required to have appeared in the CUET (PG) 2026.
Admissions to the MSc (Biotechnology) and MSc (Computational Biology) programmes will be based on the GAT-B score, the university said.
Admissions to the M Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering programmes at the School of Engineering will be conducted through centralised counselling for M Tech (CCMT).
The university notification also advised applicants to have all relevant documents ready in advance, including caste or category certificate (if applicable), educational qualification certificates and mark sheets, as well as income certificate where applicable.
"Detailed information regarding the admission portal, schedule, and application procedure will be announced in due course," the JNU notification informed.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the CUET PG 2026 answer key shortly.
