Kaitong Janajati High School Inaugurated.webp

A newly constructed building for Kaitong Janajati High School, built at a cost of approximately ₹16 lakh under the Chief Minister's Special Relief Fund, was inaugurated on Tuesday by Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu in the Dhemaji and Sissiborgaon Assembly constituencies.

During the inauguration, the Education Minister announced that the school would be upgraded to the Higher Secondary level within the current year, which is expected to benefit students in the surrounding areas.

Dr. Pegu also informed that, under the Chief Minister's Special Relief Fund, additional classrooms are being constructed in 200 schools within the Mising Autonomous Council area. He further stated that steps have also been taken to ensure the preservation and promotion of Mising language education in schools.
