Mumbai, March 8 Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut called being a woman a 'superpower' in her powerful message on social media to mark International Women's Day.

The 'Queen' actress, known for her outspoken nature, advised all women to be aware of their strengths and also learn how to use them to their advantage.

However, Kangana also emphasized that understanding your own power does not mean using it against others.

Her message on her official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle read, "Every day is your day. Being a woman is a superpower. Know your strengths and understand how to use them to your advantage, but never against yourself. Never regret being generous; what you give is what you receive, but it may not come from where you expect. So, keep going, don't be foolish, always hope that you never deceive anyone or take advantage of people or situations. (sic)"

The 'Emergency' actress highlighted that one's happiness lies in knowing that it is okay to dedicate oneself to work, family, and friends, but one should not depend on anyone for their needs.

She further shared her mantra, "Choose those who choose you."

"The key to happiness is that you dedicate yourself to your work, your family, and your friends, but remember that what you want, no one else has; you only want gratitude, and only you can fill yourself with that. Most importantly, choose those who choose you. Rise and shine, love, and take care of your health. Happy International Women's Day #InternationalWomensDay," Kangana added.

On the professional front, Kangana last appeared in "Emergency," which was released on January 17, 2025.

Recently, Kangana seems to have transitioned into politics. As a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she currently serves as a Member of Parliament from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
