Mumbai, April 2 – Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor has praised comedian Kapil Sharma for bringing joy and laughter to people's lives.
Kapil Sharma wished comedian-actor Kapil Sharma on his 44th birthday on April 2, and posted a picture of them together on his social media account.
He wrote, “Happy birthday, @kapilsharma!
Life is truly about finding joy and happiness, and you have shared both generously with the world. I hope you continue to have many opportunities to spread laughter and love in the years to come.”
In the picture shared by Kapoor, Kapil Sharma is seen sitting alongside him on the set of Sharma’s talk show, both of them laughing heartily.
Actress Kriti Sanon also wished Kapil. Sharing a selfie with him on her social media account, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Kapil. It’s always a pleasure being around you, have the best year ahead.”
Talking about Kapil Sharma’s journey, the star comedian hailed from a humble Punjabi background, and over the years, he became one of India’s most celebrated entertainers.
Kapil had no connections in the entertainment industry, and he rose to fame after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
After that, he starred in Comedy Circus and later hosted Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, before creating iconic shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show.
Known for his impeccable comic timing and hosting skills, Kapil also ventured into films with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He was last seen in the sequel of the movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, released in January.
On the personal front, Kapil Sharma married his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in 2018, and the couple has two children.
