The Kapilvastu District Administration Office enforced restrictive orders in parts of the Maharajgunj municipality on Saturday for an indefinite period.

A group of Hindus celebrating the Navaratri festival were reciting bhajans in the Bargadwa area of Maharajgunj municipality when a group of Muslims celebrating Eid opposed them, saying the music was too loud, police said.
