
Mumbai, April 9 – Karan Johar, a filmmaker and director, has documented his trip to Tokyo through his social media accounts and has praised the city's tranquility and cleanliness.
On Thursday, Karan Johar posted a series of pictures from his Tokyo trip on his Instagram account, showcasing the city's beautiful locations.
He also shared several selfies, in which he is seen posing in his usual fashionable jackets and coats. In one of the pictures, which appears to have been taken in a mall, there are bags with a caption that reads, "My energy comes from freedom."
Adding a note to these pictures, he wrote, "An organized city that is both crowded and meditative… that's new and sells vintage in abundance."
Praising the city's hygiene and tranquility, he wrote, "Here, silence is appreciated, cleanliness is inherent, order is the norm, and politeness is everywhere… I was late to this Tokyo party, but I slept with matcha-flavored dreams every night… Also, if you haven't had the egg sandwich from 7-11, then you haven't truly lived!"
He concluded by writing, "I'm off to sleep as I have an early flight! Goodbye, Tokyo! Until we meet again…"
Prior to this, Karan Johar had shared pictures with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, whom he met in Tokyo during the promotional events for "The Devil Wears Prada-2."
Adding a note to the pictures, he wrote, "This is not a caption. This is a confession. I am singularly obsessed and inspired by the unparalleled brilliance of Meryl Streep. In many ways, she has been my guru in the art of acting and portraying characters on screen!!"
He also confessed that he has watched "The Devil Wears Prada" over 40 times.
