Chennai, March 19 – Karuppiah, the producer of the upcoming romantic entertainer 'Youth', which stars Ken Karunas in the lead role, has recently posted an emotional message on the eve of the film's release, detailing the 12 years it took him to break into the film industry.
The young film producer, who is just 27 years old, wrote, "27 years old? Producer? People say it's too soon. For them, it might be too soon. But for me, it's been 12 years of hard work, ever since I started dreaming about cinema at 15."
He confessed, "Last March, I was going through a midlife crisis, wondering what my next step would be. I had signed two films at that time. Both were big-budget productions, but neither got off the ground. Everything felt uncertain. At that point, life itself started feeling a bit suffocating."
He then continued, "At that point, my only dream was simple: to see my name on screen as a Writer-Director. A year later… that dream didn't just remain a dream. It grew. It became something bigger than myself. I realized my purpose is to bring the best cinema I enjoy to as many people as possible."
"From chasing a credit to building a vision – this challenging journey has made me stronger. Thank you, Amma and Appa, for standing by me. I am grateful to be your son! This film is for both of you," he said.
"I love cinema too much, so we built a company. That's @paarvathaaent. Thank you to my friends and core production team for being there during tough times. Finally, thank you Ken and team for giving us #YOUTH. @KenKarunaas is here to deliver! And @ammamuthu_surya, thank you for introducing Ken and #Youth to us
He concluded by saying, "And this is just the beginning. We are here, and we are here to bring you good, honest cinema. Tomorrow, the first step of this journey begins with a lot of hope. #Youth is now yours."
