
New Delhi, April 9 Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra has completed the shooting schedule for her upcoming film "Sundar Poonam" in Kashmir.
The film is directed by Pulkit, known for "Bhakshak," and produced by Kumar Taurani and Vikram Malhotra under the banners of Tips Films and Abundantia Entertainment. Jyotsana Nath, along with the filmmaker, has written the script.
Malhotra, known for films like "Dangal," "Badhaai Ho," and "Kathal," shared a series of pictures on her Instagram handle on Wednesday to announce the news. The pictures featured the actress and the film crew against the backdrop of Kashmir. "We came, we shot, we froze, hehe. #SundarPoonam. Kashmir," she wrote in the caption.
The Prime Video film, which also stars Aditya Rawal, is inspired by real-life crime events.
Malhotra's latest project is "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari," which is set to release in 2025 and features the actress alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Rohit Saraf.
She will next appear in the Netflix film "Toaster," alongside Rajkummar Rao, which tells the story of Ramakant (Rao), a notorious miser who reluctantly gifts a toaster worth Rs 5,500 to a couple for their wedding. When the marriage is immediately annulled, Ramakant becomes obsessively focused on getting the gift back. His mission to retrieve the toaster spirals into a chaotic web of mishaps involving murder.
The film is set to release on the streaming platform on April 15.
