The Department of Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare organized a Gender Targeting and Inclusion Sensitization Workshop in Kathua. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated it by lighting a traditional lamp.
He was accompanied by Chief Agriculture Officer Jatinder Sharma and senior officers from the departments of Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, and other related sectors.
A number of women farmers from rural areas participated in the workshop. During the event, the Chief Agriculture Officer highlighted the achievements and important role of women farmers in agriculture and related activities.
