Thiruvananthapuram, April 1 Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan welcomed the arrival of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday to campaign for the ruling LDF in the upcoming Assembly polls, stating that his presence would strengthen efforts to protect the country's secular fabric.
In a post on X, Vijayan thanked Yadav for extending solidarity and joining the Left Democratic Front's campaign in the state for the April 9 elections.
"Thank you, @yadavtejashwi, for your solidarity and for joining the LDF's campaign in Kerala. Your presence and support strengthen our collective fight to protect our secular fabric and advance a people-centric alternative. Together, we will ensure a resounding victory for the people of Kerala," he said.
Yadav, who reached Malappuram to campaign for CPI(M) candidate M K Sakeer in the Ponnani constituency on Tuesday, also expressed gratitude to the people for their support.
"Grateful to the people of Malappuram for their love, support, warmth, and affection," he said in his X post.
