Kerala Governor Advocates 100% Voter Participation.webp

Thiruvananthapuram, March 28 Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said on Saturday that the objective of the election process should be to ensure 100 per cent voter participation.

The Governor also believed that the State Election Commission should serve as a model for election panels in other states, according to an SEC release.

He made these statements after releasing a detailed report prepared by the SEC on the 2025 local body elections, the 2026 Election Commission Yearbook, and a compilation of important High Court judgments related to local elections, the release said.

The Governor also presented a certificate of appreciation to two engineering students who had developed an EVM Track software, it said.

SEC Commissioner A Shahjahan and other officials were present at the function held at the Lok Bhavan here.
