
Kannur (Kerala), April 6 Police have launched an investigation after an explosive was thrown at the residence of a BJP worker in Kathirur, officials said on Monday.
According to police, the incident occurred at the house of Majisha Pathayakunnu in Konkachi near Kathirur on Sunday night.
According to the FIR, around 8:50 pm, two unidentified individuals approached the house and used abusive language. They then threw an explosive, which exploded with a loud sound.
Police officials at the Kathirur police station said a case has been registered based on Majisha's complaint, and efforts are underway to identify the accused.
Forensic experts are examining the explosive to determine whether it was a firecracker or a homemade bomb.
