Kerala Residents Welcome PM Modi in Thrissur.webp

Thrissur (Kerala), March 29 Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-energy roadshow in Thrissur on Sunday as part of the NDA's assembly election campaign, with thousands of people lining the streets to catch a glimpse of him.

The roadshow, which began near the District hospital, proceeded through the heart of Kerala's cultural capital.

The roadshow transformed the city into a sea of party flags, cheering supporters, and curious onlookers.

Braving the evening heat, people gathered along the sides of the road hours in advance, waving, chanting slogans, and capturing the moments on their mobile phones as the PM greeted them from an open vehicle.

Prominent NDA candidates in Thrissur district, including Padmaja Venugopal and union minister Suresh Gopi, who represents Thrissur in the Lok Sabha, also participated in the roadshow.

Earlier, Modi arrived at the Kuttanellur helipad, where he was received by senior BJP-NDA leaders.
