Kochi, March 11 Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow in this port city of Kerala, which is heading to elections, where he arrived to participate in a series of events, including the inauguration of the NDA's election convention led by the BJP.

The 300-meter-long roadshow was organized at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium here, where he greeted a large number of people of all ages who had gathered at the venue in an open-top vehicle decorated with flowers.

The large crowd, holding BJP flags and wearing saffron-colored caps, gathered on both sides of the road and welcomed him with flowers and loud chants of "Modi."

He reached the stadium, where he will inaugurate various infrastructure and development projects, after attending the golden jubilee celebrations of the Akhila Kerala Dheevara Sabha at Marine Drive.

Modi arrived at the Kochi international airport around 11:30 am and then travelled by helicopter to the naval base here. From there, he travelled by road to the Marine Drive event.
