Drugs worth ₹6 crore seized in Khanapara, Four arrested
Drugs worth nearly ₹6 crore were seized today in Khanapara, Guwahati. The contraband was being transported hidden inside a compartment of a truck, according to police.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Basistha Police and the Special Task Force. Four drug traffickers were arrested during the raid.
According to police, the seized drugs were brought from Imphal. The arrested individuals are Nabir Ali, Saiful Haque, Kutubuddin Sheikh, and Ravi Barman.
Further investigation is underway.
