Aizawl, April 2 A minor has been apprehended with 23 grams of heroin in Mizoram's Khawzawl district, police said on Thursday.
A team from the Khawzawl police station intercepted the minor, who was from the village of Tlangsam in Champhai, at a check point on Wednesday, they said.
Upon conducting a search, the team recovered two soap cases containing 23 grams of heroin, a police statement said.
The minor was produced before the Principal Magistrate of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Khawzawl for further legal proceedings, it said.
