KISHTWAR, March 16, 2026: A joint rescue operation involving the Civil Administration and security forces successfully averted a crisis in Kishtwar. The operation was led by Kishtwar DC Pankaj Kumar Sharma, SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh, and the 11 RR of the Indian Army, who coordinated efforts to evacuate approximately 150 passengers stranded at Sinthan Top due to heavy snowfall.
