
KISHTWAR, APRIL 01: Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma chaired a District-Level Coordination Meeting to review anti-drug initiatives and strengthen de-addiction mechanisms under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" (Drug-Free India Campaign).
The DC directed officials to intensify awareness campaigns, declare institutions tobacco-free, and expedite "Nasha Mukt" (Drug-Free) Panchayat initiatives. Representatives of Sanatan Dharma Sabha and Majlis-e-Shoura Committee were urged to nominate volunteers to support community-based anti-drug efforts.
He also emphasized strict monitoring of drug consignments and enhanced inter-departmental coordination. The meeting was attended by senior district officers and key stakeholders.
