Mumbai, March 29 Captain Ajinkya Rahane hit a fine half-century, but it was debutant Angkrish Raghuvanshi who shone brightest, scoring 51 off 29 balls to help Kolkata Knight Riders post 220 for four against Mumbai Indians in their season-opening Indian Premier League match here on Sunday.

Opener Rahane scored 67 off 40 balls, with three fours and five sixes, while Raghuvanshi punctuated his innings with six boundaries and two hits over the fence.

Rinku Singh also contributed with an unbeaten 33 off 21 balls towards the end.

Bowling first, Shardul Thakur (3/39) was the leading wicket-taker for Mumbai Indians.
