Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), February 18 A tribal organization has called for a three-day shutdown starting February 21 in the Kolhan region of Jharkhand to protest the upcoming civic elections in areas governed by the Fifth Schedule, alleging that it violates constitutional provisions.

The Kolhan region comprises the districts of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan, where municipal elections are scheduled for February 23.
