The University of Kashmir will hold its 21st Convocation on February 26. Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan will be the Chief Guest. A total of 59,558 degrees will be awarded in the presence of senior dignitaries.

Srinagar, February 26: The University of Kashmir will hold its 21st Convocation on February 26 at the Convocation Complex of the varsity.

Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan will be the Chief Guest and deliver the convocation address during his first official visit to the Valley after assuming office. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Chancellor KU Manoj Sinha will preside over the ceremony, while Chief Minister and Pro-Chancellor Omar Abdullah will be present as a Guest of Honour.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan described the occasion as a "moment of collective pride," highlighting the University's commitment to academic excellence and research.

A total of 59,558 degrees – including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral qualifications – will be awarded during the ceremony, which will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Kashmir University Act, 1969. Authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the event.
