March 20, New Delhi – The Mina al-Ahmadi refinery of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation was targeted by multiple drone attacks in the early morning.
The official Kuwait News Agency, citing the national oil company, reported that the attacks caused fires, but there were no casualties.
Firefighters are working to contain the fires, while several refinery units have been shut down as a precaution.
Kuwait also warned of the possibility of explosions from its air defense system and urged the public to follow safety instructions issued by authorities.
