Srinagar, March 29 Three soldiers were injured in an alleged accidental shooting incident in the Kuwpara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the weapon of a soldier discharged accidentally, injuring three of his colleagues at an army camp in the Trehgam area on Saturday night, according to an army officer.
The official confirmed that three soldiers sustained injuries in the incident and are currently receiving treatment at a local military hospital. Further details regarding the incident are still pending.
Earlier, officials had said the shooting was a suspected case of fratricide. However, the army officer dismissed the speculations.
