
Gangtok, March 28 Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Saturday.
The two leaders met in Siliguri, in northern West Bengal.
Tamang said that during Acharya's tenure as the governor of Sikkim, he served as a guiding force and a guardian for both the government and the people of the state.
"His wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to public service left a lasting impression on all of us," the CM said in a social media post.
Tamang said the meeting was both cordial and enriching, adding, "It was heartening to reconnect and exchange thoughts."
