
Islamabad, April 8 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday and discussed the ongoing efforts for permanent peace in West Asia following the US-Iran ceasefire.
According to the PM Office, President Erdoğan commended the Prime Minister’s "bold and sagacious leadership in pursuing efforts to end the devastating conflict in the Gulf, which has caused immense human suffering and widespread destruction of infrastructure".
He reaffirmed Türkiye's full support for Prime Minister Shehbaz's "tireless and sincere efforts to restore peace and stability in the region".
The Prime Minister expressed his profound gratitude to the Turkish President for his encouragement and endorsement of Pakistan’s sincere peace efforts.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region and beyond.
