Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, has warned that continued Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon would have significant consequences and would elicit a strong response. He insisted that the two-week ceasefire should be extended to Lebanon, a proposal that has been rejected by both Israel and the United States. Qalibaf has been considered a potential negotiator who could meet US Vice President JD Vance this weekend in Islamabad, Pakistan.
