Legal Aid Drives Promote Dispute Resolution and Community Initiatives in Reasi.webp

REASI, FEBRUARY 16: Under the leadership of the Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Reasi and the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Khalil Choudhary, and under the guidance of the Secretary of the DLSA Reasi, Pooja Gupta, a series of awareness programs were organized across the district.

Legal Aid Volunteers from the TLSC Mahore conducted a program at the Mahore Court Complex on "Mediation for Nation 2.0," highlighting mediation as a voluntary, confidential, and effective Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism.

The TLSC Katra organized an awareness campaign in the village of Buttan on "Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter," focusing on government initiatives for the welfare, education, and empowerment of girls.

Additionally, Legal Aid Volunteers from the DLSA Reasi held awareness programs at various locations to educate the public about Lok Adalat, its objectives, and the types of cases suitable for amicable settlement, including bank recovery, matrimonial, MACT, utility bill disputes, and compoundable criminal cases.
