Speaker Abdur Rahim Rather made an obituary reference in the House, following which members observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
The House also condoled the demise of Brij Mohan Sharma, former Member of the Legislative Council and Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Jammu Province.
Members expressed deep sorrow and extended sympathies to the bereaved families, praying for eternal peace to the departed souls.
